The PROTECTING GOD’S CHILDREN (PGC) Program educates and trains adults (clergy, religious, teachers, employees, volunteers, and parents) about the dangers of abuse, the warning signs of abuse, the ways to prevent abuse, the methods of properly reporting suspicions of abuse, and responding to allegations of abuse.
In order for St. Henry to be compliant with our Diocesan Safe Environment Policy we require that all adults (over the age of 18) who volunteer within our youth and faith formation ministry to complete the following items:
NEW VOLUNTEERS
1. Complete the initial online training session (Virtus Online)- Virtus Online (CTRL + RIGHT CLICK, THEN OPEN IN NEW WINDOW)
2. Complete the Background Check within Virtus

4. Provide a copy of your signed ethical conduct acknowledgement form and a copy of your driver's license and car insurance if driving to the Youth/Faith Formation office

Volunteers who need to update background checks will be notified when required.
